Deovlet Wines focuses on single vineyard Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Santa Barbara County,
alongside Bordeaux inspired blends, and sparkling Chardonnay (Myers-Deovlet, Blanc de Blanc).
Custom Invitation Suite Design / Each year, Deovlet Wines hosts a weekend of themed celebrations in San Luis Obispo, with a Winemaker Dinner and a Pre-Harvest Open House celebration. For 2018, their theme was “Magic,” complete with a live performance by a magician. As this was a surprise, the idea was to have the invitation allude to the theme through its art direction. The custom stationery suite included bi-fold invitation cards with coordinating envelopes adorned with modern calligraphy. The suite featured mixed metals, illustrative hints about the enchanting evening to come, thermographic lunar eclipse stamps, and hand lettered addresses. These invitations were screen printed on a luxurious black stock with metallic gold ink and a touch of silver. We paired classic typography with vintage illustrations, hinting at the magic theme. To tie it all together, the invitations were placed into coordinating black envelopes. Each guest’s address was lettered by hand in metallic gold ink.
