In the midst of Harvest Season 2017, 199,000+ acres were devastated by wildfires. The fires ran rampant in the Northern wine growing communities of Napa, Sonoma, and Mendocino County. Many of us in the Paso Robles wine community searched for the most effective ways to assist the recovery efforts for our Northern neighbors. I am honored to have been a part of the group of leaders from the Paso Robles community along with CA Wine Strong by contributing brand design and photography for the fundraiser event of the year: Wine Feast for Fire Relief. Together, we raised over $20,000. 100% of the proceeds directly benefitted relief funds.
To support those affected by the Northern California wildfires, we developed and designed a brand identity for Wine Feast for Fire Relief. The art direction was designed to embody the storied heritage of Napa and Sonoma’s wine growing regions. We achieved this through a handcrafted, classic style focused on a hand lettered logo. Wine Feast for Fire Relief’s branding was incorporated throughout all digital marketing materials, printed collateral, and event design. Our brand design encompassed flyers, event signage, digital marketing design, event signage, step and repeat backdrop for event photography, event photography business cards, menu design, and hand lettered menu chalkboards. Wine Feast for Fire Relief was held at Oyster Ridge’s picturesque venue in Santa Margarita, California.
